It’s the bitter truth that storage units can get broke into and your items can get stolen. We want to help prevent this as much as we can though, which is why we have locks on our gates to get into the storage unit facility. To help protect yourself from break-ins we suggest some of the following hints:

• use a second lock
• don’t give anyone else a key
• don’t let people know where your unit is located
• don’t tell people what is in your unit
• don’t place items of extreme value in your unit
• always lock your unit when finished
